So today, we would like to introduce
a general guide to our children’s kimono sizes ✨
Around 0–1 year old
We offer 80 cm kimono-style rompers.
We have different styles for both boys and girls,
so you can choose one that matches the kimono worn by the rest of the family.
Around 1–3 years old (around 100 cm)
・Girls
For girls around 100 cm tall,
we offer the popular hifu style, which is often worn for Shichi-Go-San.
Because it does not require the tight wrapping of a traditional obi,
it is relatively comfortable even for very young children.
・Boys
Just like for girls,
we offer children’s kimono suitable for occasions such as Shichi-Go-San.
In addition, just like for adults,
you can also add hakama for +1,500 yen.
Adding hakama creates an even more special and formal look.
Around 4–9 years old (around 110–130 cm)
・Girls
For girls around 110–120 cm tall,
we offer ensemble-style kimono.
These are relatively easy to wear
and are also recommended for walking around and sightseeing.
For girls around 130 cm tall,
we offer more elegant kimono with longer sleeves.
Many of these designs have large patterns and look especially lovely in photos.
・Boys
For boys around 110–130 cm tall,
we offer ensemble-style kimono.
These are easy to move around in,
making them a comfortable option for children as well.
10 years old and above (140 cm and above)
For children aged 10 and above,
we offer kimono similar to adult styles for both girls and boys.
This allows the whole family to enjoy a coordinated kimono look
with a slightly more mature atmosphere.

The sizes and ages listed above are only a general guide.
In reality, the best size will depend on your child’s height and build,
but the whole family can enjoy the kimono experience together.
Many families may also want to create special travel memories
by wearing kimono together and taking family photos.
